Product description

Ge developed the 531X111PSHAGG1 as a member of the 531X series replacement driver board. The card was developed as an electrical field control and power board function. Many older models of GE drivers and exciters can have this board installed in their drive cabinets. The board provides the necessary power to the host for proper operation of the drive function. The configuration of the card is consistent with the G1 version, with AC line MOV installed on the board rather than externally.

The 531X111PSHAGG1 is capable of producing rated voltages of 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC. The card also provides the driver's motor field control with the voltage needed to power the circuit. These sources are provided by an integrated pulse transformer. Users can configure many onboard functions to meet most load requirements. Three onboard relays allow system control options to be performed using the board. The card also offers three potentiometers and five jumpers. Calibration of current and circuit feedback is performed by the potentiometer. Jumpers are provided to adjust and fix current and feedback signals.

When shipped from our office, the 531X111PSHAGG1 power supply board will be wrapped in protective anti-static plastic. In order to reduce the risk of damage to the equipment, it should only be removed from the packaging after viewing the installation parameters outlined by the manufacturer. The series manuals and board data sheets contain complete guidelines for board wiring and installation. Ge initially provided technical support to all members of the 531X series.
